Safety & Care Notes
  • The display is sealed permanently in optical-grade acrylic. The element samples inside cannot be accessed and require no maintenance.
  • Clean with a soft, dry cloth only. Solvents and abrasive materials permanently cloud the surface. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight — UV exposure causes irreversible yellowing.
  • Do not place face-down on rough surfaces. Acrylic scratches more easily than glass.
  • Not suitable for children under 3. Adult supervision recommended for children under 7.

The Science Behind The Table

In 1869, a Russian chemist named Dmitri Mendeleev arranged every known element into a single table — and deliberately left gaps where he believed undiscovered elements had to exist. He was not guessing. He was predicting.

When gallium was discovered six years later, matching Mendeleev's predicted properties almost exactly, it confirmed something extraordinary: the periodic table was not just a record of what existed. It was a description of what had to exist.

Scientists have now confirmed 118 elements in total. Every Element holds 83 of them — every element that is stable, safe, and physically meaningful to display. The remaining 35 are either radioactive, violently reactive, or so unstable they exist for only fractions of a second before decaying into other elements.

Every element in your table was formed inside a star. The iron that gives your blood its red colour was forged in a stellar core billions of years before Earth existed. When that star collapsed, it scattered iron across space — some of which eventually became this planet, this food, this body, this table.

That is not a metaphor. That is chemistry.
